Pick up the foundation using the brush and apply it to the face moving from the inside outwards. Apply the foundation by dabbing the brush on the face and not by "wiping" to best even out the complexion and optically fill in the pores.

In order to apply foundation flawlessly even to the smallest areas, such as around the eyes or on the nose, it is advisable to use the brush with the flattest and narrowest end. The brush is also useful for contouring, as its flat, straight side allows you to outline key areas of the face with darker shades.
